The third day of the Maharana Kumbha Sangeet Samaroh spellbound the audience with the Kathak performance of Dr. Yasmin Khan and her troupe at Railway Training school’s auditorium. The danseuse from Madhya Pradesh concluded the event with her scintillating performance.

The tribute to Lord Shiva through ‘Jai Kailashpati Shiv’, encapsulated the Shiva’s glory in Pakhvaj, Gaayan, Sarangi and Sitar along with Manjeere.

The special performance of Kathak of Raigarh gharana depicting Draupadi’s Cheer Haran mesmerized everyone. The fusion of classical music and Kathak made the audience tap their feet along.

The troupe included Shubhi Bhandari, Priya Srivastava and Shyama Pandit. Vocalist Vishwajeet Chakrawarti, Ustad Irshad Ahmed Warsi on Harmonium, Dr. VidyanathSingh on Tabla, Trilochan Sona on Pakhawaj, Zaakir Hussain on Sarangi and Kishan Kathak on Sitar collectively gave a wonderful show.

The chief guests of the last day of the event were B.P Jain, Punit Gangal, P.S Talesra, Nirmal Singhvi, S. S Ranawat, Dr. Yashwant Kothari, Dr. Prem Bhandari, Satpal Meedh, Sushil Dashora and Kanchan Singh Hiran. Other guests who graced the occasion were Dr. Devendra Hiran, Satpal Singh Meedh, Parmeshwar Dharmawat, Narendra Maru, Dinesh Mathur and many others.
