Mesmerizing ‘Osman Mir Nite’ in Udaipur
Gujarat’s eminent singer Osman Mir performed at an event in Udaipur and mesmerized the audience with his Sufi, ghazals, Bollywood, non-Bollywood and classical songs. The ‘Osman Mir Nite’ was organized on 13th June by MLSU’s Old Student Association and Vedanta Group.

The evening commenced with paying gratitude to Goddess followed by songs ‘Mann Mor Bani Dhanghat Kare’ and ‘Nagada Sang Dhol Baje’ from famous Bollywood film Goliyon ki Rasleela- Ramleela.
Known for his magical voice in Gujarat Folk music, Osman spilled his magic by singing Rajasthani Folk song ‘Kesariya Balam.’ The evening grew to its full brim with Mir’s Sufi touch and other melodious songs from non-filmy background.
Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria honored the guest Osman Mir along with Vice Chancellor Prof I.V Trivedi for completion of 5 years of service and Hansraj Chaudhary.
During the event, Gulab Chand Kataria announced aid of Rs. 20 Lac whereas Rs. 15 Lac by Vedanta Group towards construction of Guest House. Osman Mir gave back Rs. 51,000 to the association towards social welfare.
The evening was presided over by Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari, CEO-HZL Akhilesh Joshi, Association Secretary J.K Tahilia, Dr. Prem Bhandari, Kuldeep Mathur and many others.
