With the grand event of Gangaur held on 25 March, the Mewar Festival continued today at Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal which consisted of various programs and cultural events to make it a complete entertainment evening.

The hall of the Lok Kala Mandal was packed with the cheerful crowd and amazing performances by folk dancers from distant places of Rajasthan and neighboring state of Gujarat attracted the attention of the audience.

One of the most entertaining events was the competition between couples from other nations (foreigners) dressed in Rajasthani attires in which Dan and Debbie from England were declared the winner of the event.

Luke from New Zealand and Kaia from Norway are first runner up and Helge from Germany and Miki from Thailand second runner up.

With number of dance performances, winners of the best Gangaur were also awarded in today’s function.

The program was organized by department of tourism, Udaipur and the local administration.
