Mewari Pagdi Adds Shine to Jyoti Kalash Yatra

3rd day of Hindu New year was a noteworthy event which consisted holy Jyoti Kalsh Yatra from Nathdwara to Gangaur Ghat. This Vidai (farewell ) was co-organized by Akhil Bhartiya Nav Varsh Samaroh Samiti, Udaipur Municipal Council & Alok Institute.

 

3rd day of Hindu New year was a noteworthy event which consisted holy Jyoti Kalsh Yatra from Nathdwara to Gangaur Ghat. This Vidai (farewell ) was co-organized by Akhil Bhartiya Nav Varsh Samaroh Samiti, Udaipur Municipal Council & Alok Institute.

The presence of all Crème de la crème (Rajni Dangi-Chairman of Muncipal Corporation, Sudharak Shastri, Radhe Radhe & all members of Bharat Vikas Parishad) of the city made it a blend of Imperial & Divine occasion.

“Jyoti Kalash Yatra begun at 3 pm from Nathdwara, and took a gigantic form on the way. At Chaupati, 21 Pious pots were filled up by the Holy Water of The Ganga & The Yamuna. The Sanctimonious  Jyoti was brought down from Shrinath Temple as a blessing for the commencement of the procession.

The procession was heavily welcomed by more than 1 lac people on the way. It seemed like the whole city is delighted with this cultural procession. The procession passed through Ekling ji, Sukher, Bhuwana, Pula, Fatehpura, Sukhadia Circle and reached Jagdish Mandir, where Pradeep Kumawat was honored by Mewari Pagdi from Dharmotsava Samiti & Mewar Sena. People were offering flowers through out the way. Alok Sansthan’s Students joined the religious procession from Hathipol.

Udaipur got surprise award for Shahi Mewari Pagdi as the Biggest Asian Mewari Pagdi, which sparkled event.

The Chief Gest at Gangaur ghat was BJP’s State Mahamantri Satish Poorniya, Munciple Corporation Chairman Rajni Dangi, Chairman Of Alok Sansthan Shyam Lal Kumawat, Cultural Committee’s Dhanpal Swami, Law Committee’s Krishna Kant Kumawat, Udhyan Samiti’s Satya Narayan Mochi, Brahmin Mahasabha President Bhagwan Menariya, Principle of Alok Sansthan Fatehpura Usha Kumawat & Panchwati’s Pushpa Tank.

On this occasion, Internation Power  lifting champion Manoj Karan Singh Gorwan, & Mahesh Waghmare (National Body Building Participant) were honored.

Munciple Corporation Chairman, Rajni Dangi appreciated magnifiencet event organized by Nav Varsh Samaroh Samiti, which is keeping the tradition alive from last 35 yrs with all kind of innovative and mind blowing cultural events. She bade farewell to 2067th Shubh Vikram Samwat with Udaipur and wished for the maintained water level of the lakes in the city of lakes.

The chairman of Alok Sansthan Shyamlal Kumwat wished Udaipurites a Happy & Prosperous Hindu new year and appealed to Udaipur to wish atleast 5 people on new year through sms. Pradeep Kumawat Wished New year to one & all, by adding that Doodhtalai was made all prepared for the grand welcome of 2068th Shubh Vikram Samwat . Piyush Rawal & Payal Kumawat Contributed to the programme.

Alok Sansthan’s students performed dance to make the event musical.

To make the event soothing & remarkable, GANGA AARTI was performed by Chief guests, Teachers & Students Together.  Fireworks made the event rocking in the end.
