Growing up, Jess loved to learn her favourite subjects being maths, science, art and sport, and by the end of her schooling became a very well respected member of her cohort - earning the titles of Assistant Head Girl and Sports Woman of the Year.
It was while she was studying that an interest for modelling arose, and after watching the TV show America's Next Top Model religiously as a teen, she started exploring the options available to her in the UK market, signing with her first modelling agency at the age of 15. A keen learner, Jess carried on with her studies around her new found venture, and excelled academically-achieving 10A/A grades in her GCSE's before studying Biology, Chemistry, English and Maths at A Level.
It was while she was preparing for her A Level exams that careers in aviation crossed her mind, but under the assumption it was too late to change her path, she dismissed her ideas and took a year out of her studies after finishing her exams to focus on modelling.
