As a part of the ongoing annual festival Kshitij, Mumbai's Mithibai College hosted the charming Dhvani Bhanushali for the promotion of her song ‘Nayan’, which was released on 8 December, 2020.
Dhvani Bhanushali is a highly acclaimed singer and youth icon. She is best known for her songs ‘Baby Girl’, ‘Dilbar’, ‘Leja Re’ and ‘Vaaste’. She has featured in some of the most hit music videos and her songs have been known to consistently top the charts. Mithibai Kshitij also celebrated the success of her blockbuster song ‘Vaaste’, which crossed 1 billion plus views on YouTube.
Kshitij is the Annual International Intercollegiate Cultural Festival of SVKM’s Mithibai College, popular since 2007 with a working committee of 800 plus students organizing a glorious cultural extravaganza every year. Mithibai Kshitij’20 is Asia’s biggest virtual festival. Despite the pandemic and the countless challenges our country is facing right now, Kshitij continues to thrive.
This year, Kshitij has over 42 events in eight different categories. More than 100 colleges from all across the world participate in their fabulous events, ranging from Performing Arts and Literary Arts to Creatives and Fine Arts and Gaming and Sports.
Dhvani Bhanushali appreciated the efforts put in by Team Kshitij for the promotion of her song Nayan’. The song is also sung by Jubin Nautiyal. The event was held in association with Roaring Bullet and Chronicle Ventures, at JW Marriott, Juhu. This was the first offline event to be held by a college festival post the pandemic on such a grand scale.
