Prodigy Mohammad Javed of the Mohanlal Sukhadia University bagged a Silver Medal at the All India (Men and Women) Power Lifting, Weight Lifting and Best Physique Championship.

The tournament is being hosted by MLSU at Udaipur, and on the second day of the event, Javed secured the second position in the 93 kg weigh category.

On the second day, 22^nd February, power lifting and weight lifting performances in various categories were showcased by athletes from the participating Universities.  Javed lifted 747.5 kg in the 93 kg category, while the Gold medal was bagged by Raghvendra of the Osmania University after he lifted 827.5 kg.  Vikas Kumar from Patna University lifter 737.5 kg and was awarded the Bronze medal.

In the other events of Weight Lifting and Body Building, matches were played under various weight categories.  Body building contests in the 60kg and 65kg weight category were held in second session later in the evening.
