The Dawoodi Bohra Community of Udaipur will commemorate the Martyrdom of Imam Hussain tonight on the 9^th Day of Moharram and will observe the day of Ashoora tomorrow with several events and processions.

Both Bohra sects (Youth and Shabab) conducted programs in the memory of Imam Hussain, grandson of Prophet Muhammad and his 72 followers who sacrificed their lives in the Battle of Karbala held on Oct 10^th, 680 AH against the army of Yazid.

Bohra Youth community will observe the day of Ashoora by conducting procession at Boharwadi which includes devotees carrying flag of Hazrat Abbas, brother of Imam Hussain and groups reciting nohas and doing matam to remember the hardship Imam Hussain and his supporters faced.
