The three day youth festival of Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT) Pratap 2012 concluded today with various cultural performances by the students including solo and group dance, songs, one act plays etc. The program was jointly organized by the University Student Welfare Office and Central Student Union.

In various competitions that were organized in the youth festival, Engineering College has won Lalit Kala Championship and Dance Championship while Home Science College grabs Championship for all Theatre and Musical performance.

For overall outstanding presentation, Home Science College won the general championship.

Dr. Virendra Shrivastava, Director of Planning and Monitoring (MPUAT) has praised the zeal of students and said that students should take part in co-curricular and cultural activities as it helps in nurturing their character.

In the beginning of the program, Praveen Kumar, President of Central Student Union welcomed the present gathering and introduced various activities of the union. Dr Virendra Nepaliya of Student Welfare Committee talked about the fest, Pratap 2012.

The program was coordinated by Dr. Deepak Sharma and Dr. Gaytri Tiwari, and thanks giving was done by Avni Chandaliya.
