Mother Teressa International Film Festival marked its beginning from March 25, 2011. Various films based on the life of Mother Teresa will be shown in Chetak Cinema from March 26-27, 2011.

The event is organized by Sarva Dharma Maitri Sangh headed by Mr. Sandeep Singhatwadia. Special Guests for the inaugural ceremony were Mr. T.L. Meena (IG), Sr. Sara Grace (Regional Superior, Missionary of Charity, Rajasthan and Gujrat). Guest of Honor was Rev. Dr. Joseph Pathalil.

Fr. Norbert S.V.D and group sung a prayer and a devotional song. A movie on life span of Mother Teresa was also shown.

T.L. Meena expressed his views saying that everyone should believe in One God, One  Religion and One Community.

Today, on the second day of the festival various films were shown in Chetak Cinema. First show started at 11.30am. The schedule of the films for tomorrow, March 27 is as follows:

• Opening Ceremony: 11 – 11.30am
• Mother Teresa : 11.30am-1.30pm
• In The Name of God’s Poor: 2.00-3.30pm
• A Call Within A Call: 4.0-4.45pm
• Closing Ceremony – The Legacy: 6.00pm – 8.30pm
