National Level Sculpture Workshop, organized by West Zone Culture Centre at Shilpgram, concluded today. Chief Guest in the closing ceremony was VC of MLSU, Professor I V Trivedi.
It was a 10-day workshop on multimedia sculpture in which several students and known artists from various states of the country participated to showcase their talent.
Speaking at the venue, professor Trivedi said that such workshops are important to improve artistic skills and creativity in the students. “Since our schools and colleges do not have counselors to direct the students towards the right path, students should participate in such workshops and other activities to assess their interests”, he said.
In the ceremony, artists were given a memento and all the sculptors were exhibited. The artworks were appreciated by locals as well as tourists.
