A friendly match was played between Lakecity Press Club Eleven and Mayor Eleven today at Field Club Ground. In the match, Mayor Eleven of Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC) won with the margin of 4 runs.

The match organized on occasion of Independence Day, team UMC batted first to give a target of 54 runs in pre decided 8 over. Press Club Eleven batting second, managed to score 50 runs after losing 5 wickets.

Manu Rao, President, Lakecity Press Club informed that the match started at 9 am in which press club won the toss and elected to Bat first. The rain affected the play and game was re-started in which Mayor Eleven played first.

Rao also informed that in a post match ceremony, Mayor Rajni Dangi awarded trophy to both the teams and addressed a vote of thank to all players and journalists of city.
