To commemorate the great Tabla Legend Pandit Chaturlal, a musical evening at Shilpgram was organized today which gave an opportunity to see the classical Indian music from a close perspective.

Kathak dance by Pandit Birju Maharaj and drum recital by Pranshu, grandson of Pandit Chaturlal delighted the audience.

Pandit Birju Maharaj impressed the crowd by making different chirping voices from their ghungru, while Pranshu showcased his multi talent by playing three different types of musical instruments together.

The show was organized by Pandit Chaturlal Memorial Society in association with Hindustan Zinc-Vedanta group. Show was orchestrated by both WZCC and Pandit Chaturlal Memorial trust based in Delhi.
