Nadbrahma to organize play "Court Martial" on 6th Sept
The play Court Martial will be presented by artists of Nadbrahma, an organization promoting culture, art and music on 6th Sept at MLS University Auditorium.
The play Court Martial will be presented by artists of Nadbrahma, an organization promoting culture, art and music on 6th Sept at MLS University Auditorium. The program “Ranganjali” is organized in the memory of Late Hemant Pandya, the famous theater artist, actor, director and flutist.
According to Shivraj Sonwal, Director of Court Martial and President of Nadbrahma, “This is the 7th Ranganjali held in the memory of Late Hemant Pandya who was also known as Dadu.”
Sonwal informed, “Around 10 different plays were presented in last 7 years during Ranganjali. Most popular ones are Man Marichika, Shabdbeej, Roti ka Jaal, Hawalat, Savdhaan, Hum Atmahatya Karte Hai, Maa Muje Tagore Bana De, Court Martial etc. All these plays were written and directed by Dadu.”
The program is co-organized by ST SC Cell of Mohan Lal Sukhadia University.
The play depicts social prejudice of society which is still prevalent in spite of constitutional equality to every person without any discrimination.
“Foundation of Nadbrahma was laid with the intention to prepare a stage where we can organize and encourage different forms of art so that new talents can be nurtured,” said Shivraj Sonwal.
