Fateh Sagar on 30^th March sparkled with the gleaming 1008 earthen lamps or diyas that were lit in the middle of the lake on a boat, imbibing the essence of Ganga Aarti.

The occasion was the festival celebration of 2614^th birth anniversary of Lord Mahaveer organized by Jain Jagruti Center of Mahaveer Jain Parishad. The Maha Aarti was held in the middle of the lake on the boat and spread the message of love, peace and happiness.

While the Maha Aarti was taking place in the middle of the lake, rest of the people gathered at the paal with diyas in their hands and participated in the festivity. Prabha Bahu Mandal of Sector 11 performed a spiritual dance followed by dance from Kunthu Jagruti Mahila Mandal.

Today at Nagar Nigam premises, various cultural programs will be organized from 8 PM onward by women Jain groups.
