2-day National Conference on ‘Integration of Engineering with Environment Development and Sustainability’ concluded today at the Faculty of Engineering, Pacific University.

On the second day today, various harmful effects of infrastructure and technological development were pointed out by the professors and experienced professionals working in the field of sustainable engineering.

Chief Speaker Professor Ravindra Nagar from MNIT said that cement should be replaced with fly-ash, marble waste, zinc slag etc. so as to control the dispersion of harmful gases in the atmosphere. ‘Radiation Control’ was also discussed in one of the technical sessions.

The program concluded with Professor S.K. Sharma summarizing the main points and conclusion of the discussions and seminars held in the conference. Professor T.A. Quazi delivered the vote of thanks.
