Udaipur Obstetrical and Gynecological Society are organizing 44^th National Conference Gynecon 2013 – Updating Skills with Modern Technology. It is a three day national conference which started today and will conclude on 22^nd Sept at RNT Medical College.

The conference will consist of several workshops, discussion sessions, research paper submission etc. According to Dr. Rajrani Sharma, president of UOGS, the conference is an amalgamation of various academic cultural events.

On its first day today, two live workshops (Surgical and USG) were presented. The first workshop was Gynecological endoscopic surgeries & Obstetrical surgeries by team of Dr. Prakash Trivedi, Dr. Praveen Patel and Dr. Mahesh Gupta.

In another workshop, Dr. Mayank Chaudhary, Dr. Janak Desai and Dr. Ajay Valia have showed Role of USG in 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd Semester Scan, Color Doppler, Foetal Echo & Infertility.

On 21^st Sept, Dr. Girija Vyas, Minister for Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation will inaugurate the Scientific Exhibition. Prior to this, Free Paper Presentation and Clinical Photograph Competition will be held between 8 to 9am.

Likewise, series of discussion and presentation on Obstetrical and Gynecology will be thoroughly talked by the experts coming from all over the country.

The program will conclude on 22^nd Sept with Valedictory ceremony and prize distribution.
