Under the various programs going on for the 58^th Wildlife Week, the Wildlife Wing, Forest department of Udaipur is organizing Nature Photography Exhibition and Photography workshop at “Suchna Kendra” (Information center) situated at Saheli Marg on 5^th, 6^th and 7 ^th of this week with Talon Nature Photography Club.

Discoveries made by members of Talon in the last few years in Udaipur are:

1. Imperial Eagle

2. Tri-color Munia

3. Greater Spotted Eagle

4. Cinereous Vulture

5. Re-discovery of Green Munia after 15 years.

Program Director, N.C. Jain (Chief Conservator Forest and Wild Life) informed that the exhibition is open and free to all the citizens and the timing for the exhibition is 11:00 am onwards till 6:00 pm. He said that this will be a unique opportunity for learning tricks of a good Nature Photography from expert photographers.

Participate in First Udaipur Cyclothon/ Run 4 Nature

Jain (CCF, WL) also informed that the Wild Life Department of Udaipur is also organizing first of its kind, a Cycling Marathon in Udaipur which will start from Luv Kush Stadium, Chetak Circle and will end at MLSU (Auditorium), Jain said that already 1000 registrations have been done for this event and yet some more entries are expected.

Exciting prizes for the winners

a. The award will be given in lottery form to those who finish the Cyclothon/Run in the maximum given time and are present at the time of announcement of the lottery.

b. Retreats are proposed to be organized in very special places in the holiday week of 20th – 28th Oct 2012, including both the Sundays. Details will be declared at the time of award.
