Natyansh presents 10 ‘Padaav’ in three days
Depicting the problems of elderly people, Natyansh, the local theater group showcased street play “Padaav” at several places in the city. The play was presented 10 times in last three days and claimed praise.
Depicting the problems of elderly people, Natyansh, the local theater group showcased street play “Padaav” at several places in the city. The play was presented 10 times in last three days and claimed praise.
The play very well portrays the miserable conditions of those senior citizens who are neglected by their families and left isolated. The deprived condition brings loneliness, frustration and heartbreak.
Padaav explains how elders are not the cause of problems but are problem-solver. The play revolves around a middle-class family where an elderly couple is always concerned about their children but their son always feels frustrated taking care of his parents and later he asks his parents to leave the house.
But at last, he realizes his mistake and apologizes to his parents and asks them to come back but his parents reject his plea.
Artists who performed in the play are: Ashfaq Noor Khan, Amit Nagar, Amit Shrimali, Rekha Sisodia, Tarun Joshi, Ayush Maheshwari, Chetan Menaria, Abdul Mubin Khan Pathan, Shlok Pimplekar and Yatharth Goswami.
The play is written and directed by Mohammad Rizwan Mansoori.
