Nav Samvatsar is on 6^th April. Following the celebrations for welcoming this New Year, Akhil Bharatiya Nav Varsh Samaroh Samiti, Municipal Corporation and Alok Group of Institutions are going to carry out Amantran Yatra for welcoming the masses to be a part of Nav Samvatsar-2076 celebrations. The procession will begin from Hathipole and end at Jagdish Chowk.

On 3^rd April, programme “Maati ke Rang” will take place in Sector 14, Hiranmagri. The programme will have Jal Sanjhi by the famous artist Rajesh Vaishnav. This will be followed by turban tying competition at Fatehsagar pal on 4^th April.

It may be noted that Municipal Corporation will not be an active participant in the Nav Samvatsar programmes this year. This has been informed by the Commissioner of Municipal Corporation in his letter in response to the letter written by the National Secretary of Akhil Bharatiya Nav VarshSamaroh Samiti Dr. Pradeep Kumawat. The reason behind not participating is the “Aachar Sanhita” (Code of Conduct). Municipal Corporation has been actively participating every year where fireworks and other arrangements are looked after by them.
