To mark the start of a new academic session at Geetanjali Medical College (GMC), a cultural program was organized to welcome the new batch of students. Kapil Agarwal (Vice Chairman, Geetanjali Group), Ankit Agarwal (Director, Operations), Dr. R.K Nahar (Vice Chancellor) and Dr F.S Mehta (Dean) graced the occasion.

Dr Majinder Kaur of GMC informed students about the activities to be conducted in their upcoming five and the half years of academic curriculum.

Dr D.M Mathur, member of the anti ragging committee, informed the students about the ill effects of ragging, legal consequence, punishment and helpline number.

Dr. Mehta and Dr. Nahar wished the students for their bright future and conveyed the message of humanity and nobility towards patients. They also warned of taking action against irregular students by informing their parents.

Students of 2014 batch welcomed the new students in a traditional manner followed by a cultural program.
