Venunad Kala Kendra, Oddisa, proponents of the Oddisi Dance form have long back begun their Workshop sessions at Udaipur. This Workshop is held for 8 days each month in Udaipur. Performances and dance classes at Venunad Kala Kendra are a brilliant manifestation of authentic Indian devotional spirit. Students at the Kendra are immersed in the culture of divine love of Sri Sri Radha-Krishna through dance set to devotional works including Jayadeva’s Geet Govind. Students can learn Classical form, Semi-Classical form and folk dance.
School girls, college girls, house wives and working women are taking benefit of this workshop since 3 months.
Recently the group from Udaipur have given their first performance in Gasiyar in “Fag Utsav” organised by Dr. Ashok Sharma and his wife.
