Sir Padampat Singhania University is to hold a cultural program on the eve of Friday, 4^th October ‘13 to extend a warm welcome to the fresh faces in the university. Walking upon the lines of tradition of university, the eve has been named as Orions’ Night and has taken its reference from the Greek word, Orion, meaning ‘rising in the sky’ or ‘dawning’.

This celebration brings in a pool of events which are organized by the students and for the students of the university. The night will gain its drive by events like group dancing, singing, drama and three enthusiastic band performances.

The premium highlights of the evening will be the selection of Mr. and Ms. Fresher of the university and the much anticipated event ‘The Fashion Show’ which will call upon the students to scorch the ramp by flaunting their moves. The declaration of ‘Face of SPSU’; an event that is a rage in the university since past one week will also reach its culmination at Orions’ ‘13. The night will conclude with a DJ creating an aura and making the students groove on his beats.

To add content in this mélange, the morning of 4^th of October will also bring Paintball competition, Paintfiesta for the students to experience paintball gunfight within a well-defined arena set up by professionals for the first time in any university in Udaipur region.
