With the help of Development Commissioner Handicraft (Government of India), Orissa State Cooperative Handicraft Ltd is organizing an eleven days Orissa Handicraft and Handloom Fair ‘Utkalika – 2012’ in Udaipur from December 7, 2012.

Fair will be organized at Lake-Way Estate near UIT Bridge. It will be inaugurated by President of West Zone Cultural Center, Dr Shailendra Dashora.

In the fair, Silk, cotton, teaser sarees, dress material etc colorful handloom products will available at a discount of up to 20% while stone articles, statues, silver filigree, golden grass etc handicrafts will be available to be sold at a discount of up to 10%.

Manager B K Sahu informed that the fair will have stone carved statues of Lord Buddha, Ganesh, Sarasvati, Krishna, Shiva etc. Other than this, customers can also purchase a variety of attractive silver necklaces, bangles, tops, garlands, tribal jewellery etc.

The exhibition will continue till December 17, 2012.
