Padma Awardee Painters to Create Live Art at Shilpgram Festival

15 renowned artists from across India will participate in the National Painting Symposium based on the theme 'Bharat Vision @2047' from December 21 to 25

Udaipur, Dec 19, 2025 - Art lovers will get an opportunity to see the masterpieces of renowned painters of the country live at the Shilpgram festival being organised by the Western Zone Cultural Centre (WZCC), Udaipur from December 21.

From December 21 to 25, 15 renowned painters from across the country will paint their imaginations on canvas with their colours in the open air as part of the art camp at the Shilpgram chaupal.

Director of WZCC, Udaipur, Furqan Khan informed that four Padma Award winning painters will participate in the National Painting Symposium Camp on the theme of Bharat Vision @ 2047. These are Vijay Kumar Sharma from Himachal Pradesh, Premjeet Baria and Paresh Rathwa from Diu and Advaita Gadnayak from Bhubaneswar (Odisha).

Apart from them, Vijayant Kumar Das and Nivedita Mishra from Odisha, Surendra Jagtap from Mumbai, Gurucharan Singh from Kurukshetra, Shailendra Singh and Harshvardhan Sharma from New Delhi, Madanlal from Chandigarh, Dr Amarjeet Singh from Jammu, Suresh Sharma and Shail Choyal from Udaipur as well as Kalyan Prasad Joshi from Bhilwara will also participate in the symposium.

The artists will also interact with the audience.
