‘Pahal’ wins at National Children’s Film Festival in Udaipur
The three day long fun-filled National Children’s Film Festival concluded today, organized jointly by The Children’s Film Society India (CFSI) and Udaipur’s District Administration.
The three day long fun-filled National Children’s Film Festival concluded today, organized jointly by The Children’s Film Society India (CFSI) and Udaipur’s District Administration. Around 30,000 school kids enjoyed the 27 films screened at various theaters of the city.
The closing ceremony was organized at PVR Cinemas, Celebration Mall with screening of the film ‘Pahal’ made by the local kids. The students of Scholars Arena School performed a superb dance and a magic show by Ravi Prakash amazed everyone.
Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari was the chief guest who emphasized the importance of films in children’s development. Bhawani Singh Detha, Divisional Commissioner, collector Ashutosh A.T Pednekar paid gratitude to the organizing committee of PVR, INOX, Ashoka Cinema and Picture Palace and other government organizations.
The winners of the 3 day festival were Priyanshu Suhalka & Pradyumn Menaria (Film- Pahal), Mahesh Soni & Saloni (Film- Kal Kare So Ab) and Abhayraj Panwar & Chelsea (Film- Mobile Padega Mehanga) as first, second and third respectively.
On the occasion of the closing, special guests including C.R Dewasi, Arvind Poswal, Bharat Mehta and Shivaji Gaur with a huge number of students and officials were present.
