"Pedal to Jungle" begins on 7th February

150 kms will be covered by cyclists from more than 6 states.

Encouraging Eco-tourism is the main objective of this "Pedal to Jungle" event. 

It is time for pedalling into the jungle once again. The 3-day event Pedal to Jungle is beginning on the 7th of February. The event will be flagged off by IG Binita Thakur. 
The pedalling event focussing to encourage eco-tourism will begin from Fatehsagar pal. People from more than 6 states are likely to participate in this event.

The cyclists who have registered for pedalling into the jungle are from Udaipur, Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Nagpur, Mumbai, Chennai, Delhi, Gujarat and Haryana. The event is a joint collaboration of forest department, Le Tour de India and Bela Basera Resort. 

The route chart is as follows:
Day 1-Fatehsagar, Rani Road, Badi, Chota Madar, Godaan kala, Dhar, Ubeshwarji, Bhata Gaon to Sri Ram camp site. 
Day 2-Sri Ram camp site to Gogunda, Rawalia kala, Paner, Barwada, Oda, Kelwara, Gavar, Bela Basera.
Day 3-Bela Basera to Gavar, Kelwara, Beed ki bhagal, Kumbhalgarh, Dana Batta, Thandi Beri to Muchala Mahaveer. 

The main attraction is the "rush-hour ride" on the 6th of Feb. It will begin at 3 p.m. in which the cyclists will go around the various residential areas and enjoy a heritage cycle ride. This rush hour ride will be flagged off by Collector Anandi and SP Kailash Bishnoi. The ride will begin from the Devali end of Fatehsagar covering Rani Road, Chandpole, Jagdish Temple and then City Palace. They will be welcomed by Prince Lakhsyaraj Singh in the palace. After the ceremony they wil return to Devali via Clock Tower and Fatehsagar.
