[Photos] City Muslims celebrate Eid Milad un Nabi
Muslim community of Udaipur marked the birthday of Prophet Muhammad “Eid Milad-un-Nabi” today with much devotion and joy. The celebration consisted of a mass procession which begin from Sindhi Bazar and passed through several areas before concluding at Brahmpol Dargah.
Muslim community of Udaipur marked the birthday of Prophet Muhammad “Eid Milad-un-Nabi” today with much devotion and joy. The celebration consisted of a mass procession which begin from Sindhi Bazar and passed through several areas before concluding at Brahmpol Dargah.
Hundreds and thousands of devotees dressed in the traditional attire marched in the procession holding flags symbolizing Islam. At many places the procession was welcomed by the community members. The program was organized by Anjuman Talimul Islam.
Mohammad Rizwan Khan, secretary of Anjuman Talimul Islam informed that, on Saturday a day before Eid Milad-un-Nabi a celebration was held at Anjuman Chowk.
Maulana Sharafuddin Noori and Maulana Zulkarnain presented Quran Recitation which followed by presentation of school children. Many groups presented Naat and Shyari praising Prophet Muhammad.
Sadar Muhammad Khalil has informed that, Maulana Imran Hanfi from Muradabad put light on the birth of Prophet Muhammad. The devotees prayed for the peace and prosperity of the nation.
