kshitij 2012, the first combined Annual Function of Sojatia Group of Education and Pacific Institute of Business Studies (PIBS) was held today at Sukhadia Auditorium, Town Hall, Udaipur.

The Chief Guest of the function was B.R Agarwal, the founder of Pacific Institute. Other eminent personalities present from the institute were Dr. Mahindra Singh Sojatia, Director PIBS and Sojatia Group of Education and C.A Rahul Badala, Director, Sojatia Group of Education.

C.A Rahul Badala informed, “Earlier also we have conducted the Annual Function every year and PIBS had their own. But this is the first time after collaboration that we are conducting a joint function.”

On the occasion of Kshitij 2012, All India rankers in Common Proficiency Test (CPT); Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) and the college rankers were awarded with a cash prize of 50,000 and 25 thousand for their excellent performance. In all, 35 students were rewarded from both the institute.

Students of the institution presented an attractive play-act on the theme ‘Save Girl Child’, which is currently a burning issue for society. As a part of this initiative, the institutes honored Devendra Agarwal with a cash prize of Rs. 2 lakh. He runs Mahesh Asharm, an orphanage for many girl children who are left alone by their parents.

Various other colorful dance performances in different international styles; skits and musical band show added a lot of glitter to the event. All the performances were prepared by the students of the institutes and were choreographed by two Udaipur based choreographers, Rajesh and Dipesh.
