Udaipur welcomed the festival of colors, Holi in its very own traditional style, with the Holika Dahan that took place like every year at Jagdish Chowk, near Jagdish Temple, today evening on the eve of Dhulendi.

A pyre of dried sticks and logs was set to fire, depicting the setting alight of Holika, marking the triumph of truth and faith over lies and disbelief.

A cultural event organised jointly by the Rikshaw Association and Business Association of Jagdish Chowk was held where foreign tourists among others, participated by delivering various performances, including dance and music.

The program began at 7pm and continued till late at night.
