It was a remarkable day today for Lakecity’s dog lovers. The 2nd Mega Dog Show was organized by Mewar Kennel Club at Ram Vatika, near Bhupal Pura, Udaipur. More than 300 participants had made this event “super -booming”. There were competitions between all big-small, cute and gigantic dogs but most important was to see the passion and excitement of participants, dog owners and spectators.

 

It was a remarkable day today for Lakecity’s dog lovers. The 2nd Mega Dog Show was organized by Mewar Kennel Club at Ram Vatika, near Bhupal Pura, Udaipur. More than 300 participants had made this event “super -booming”.

There were competitions between all big-small, cute and gigantic dogs but most important was to see the passion and excitement of participants, dog owners and spectators.

Every dog was looking well prepared, some behaving over excited and some looked puzzled.

There were many common and uncommon breeds I saw, like the most lovable Labradors and German Shepherds to some newly arrived Mudhol Hounds.

Some cutely dressed Black Pug, Bull Dog and Lhasa Apso Puppies were looking outstanding.

There were many stalls selling puppy food, medicines and other accessories for pets, it looked like a mini dog market- for dogs.

The program was inaugurated at 12 PM by Dr. Bhawani Singh – Commissioner,  Department of Animal Husbandry. However, the whole event was divided into several small competition based on most healthy dog, biggest and smallest dog and most well dressed dog. Needless to say that “share it” or “like it”.This event was a dream come true for all pet lover’s of Udaipur, there should happen more such event in near future to encourage dog lovers and owners to come together on one common platform.
