MDS Senior Secondary School celebrated their Annual Day in two segments, one each for Junior and Senior Students. The event for senior students was titled, ‘Around The World’.

Celebration by Junior Students

Junior Kids celebrated the day with various cultural activities on 19^th February with singing and dancing. Kids from Pratapnagar and Hiran Magri, Sector 3 branch of MDS presented these items, the favorite among them being a dance on ‘Koi Kahe Kehta Rahe’, a Rajasthani Dance, Poem recitation on the theme of saving forests and also on the importance of numbers. Other items that were thoroughly enjoyed were a dance on ‘Jubbi Dubbi’, a dance on ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ and a dance on ‘Dil He Chotta Sa’.

The event started with ‘Saraswati Vandana’, after which the Chief Guest Rajni Dangi, Dr. Anuya Verma, Dr. Deepak Sharma, Dr. Narendra Kumar and Special Guest Virendra Dangi and Dr. Madan Varshnaey lit the earthen lamps.

At the event’s closing address, Shailendra Somani, Director of M.D.S informed that the school management is planning to introduce Apple Tablets as a medium of accessing education modules and every student will get a tablet.

Celebration by Senior Students

Senior students celebrated their Annual Day on 20^th February, with glittering performances including a Singing Performance by the School Band, a Robotic Dance, a Patriotic performance and 12 different performances on North American, Arabic, African, Mexican, Spanish, Hip-Hop, Salsa form of Music and Dancing, as a part of their theme, “Around The World”.

The most remarkable performance was the one where 600 students performed on the song ‘We Are The World’ with candles in their hand. The remaining 2000 students also joined them with fireworks, waving flags of different nations and holding candles.

The Chief Guest for the program was Pramod Samar; special guest Guruprit Soni, Roshal Lal Gattani, President of MDS Trust; Dhirendra Sachchan, President, MDS Society; Dr. R.C. Somani, Founder Trustee and Pushpa Somani, Managing Trustee.

The program started with a prayer to ‘Maa Saraswati’ and lighting of earthen lamps.
