The grand celebration of Maha Shivratri commenced in the city with a procession that was organized by Shiv Dal Mewar in which hundreds of devotees participated.

The procession saw orange turban clad men, camel carts, replicas of Shivling and tableaus decorated with spirits of sacred supremacy adorning the faces of all Shiv Bhakts.

Passing through various parts of the city, the procession concluded at Sukhadia Rang Manch.
