The celebrations of the 101st Birthday of Bohra Spiritual Leader, Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin which is on 13^th March 2012, commenced today with a two day cricket tournament of the Dawoodi Bohra Shia’a community at Udaipur’s Polo Ground.

8 teams took part in the Saifee Scout Udaipur (SSU) Champions League, Season-3.  All matches are restricted to 6 overs and every team will play 3 League matches, followed by 2 semifinals and 1 final match, which will be held on Sunday 4^th March.

Today morning, the Aamil of Udaipur, Sheikh Mustafa Moyeddi inaugurated the SSU Champions League at Polo Ground.  The event was organized by Saifee Scout Udaipur, a unit of Burhani International Guards.

The 8 participating teams are: Burhani Club, Dawoodi Cricket Club, Taherabad Cricket Club, Hyderi Cricket Club, Bastiram-11, Mohammedan Cricket Club, Royal-11 and Knight Warriors.

Tomorrow on 4^th March the final of the league series will be played in the presence of Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar.

“It’s a part of the celebration we all are getting prepared for, on the occasion of our spiritual leader ’s 101^st birthday and we pray that every coming up program and celebration will go as successful as the SSU Champions League” said Hussain Rangwala.
