On the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, today a mass rally was organized in Udaipur, participated by nearly a thousand people including students, NCC cadets, social groups, akhadas and several other organizations.
On the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, today a mass rally was organized in Udaipur, participated by nearly a thousand people including students, NCC cadets, social groups, akhadas and several other organizations.
Under the banner of Sardhshti Samaroh Samiti, four processions were amalgamated at Surajpol Chouraha and concluded at Municipal Council ground. The highly adorned procession was laden with colorful tableau narrating various accounts of Swami Vivekananda’s life, philosophy and also on nationalism, economy and against all social misconducts etc.
The first procession named ‘Ramakrishna Paramhansa’ was started from Patel Circle, the second ‘Maa Sharada’ started from B.N. Institute, ‘Swami Vivekanada Shobha Yatra’ the third one started from Bhopalpura Circle and the fourth procession ‘Bhagini Nivedita’ started from Jagdish Chowk.
All four processions joined and turned into one large convoy at Surajpol Chouraha and headed towards Municipal Council’s ground next to town hall.
