[Pics] Nav Varsh Samaroh starts with various programs

The cluster of 1200 students danced nonstop on 16 tracks in ‘Saprang-Saptswar’ event organized by Alok Sansthan, Udaipur on the occasion of Nav Samvatsar 2069, a Hindu New Year.
The event was organized on Fateh Sagar Pal at about 5 PM. The event consisted of several segments viz. Dance and Song Performances, ‘Apni Pagdi Sajao’, Honoring of Soldiers and Chorus of Vande Matram. The second day celebration of the four day event started with the traditional lightning of lamp.

The event was organized on Fateh Sagar Pal at about 5 PM. The event consisted of several segments viz. Dance and Song Performances, ‘Apni Pagdi Sajao’, Honoring of Soldiers and Chorus of Vande Matram. The second day celebration of the four day event started with the traditional lightning of lamp.

The students also presented 11 patriotic songs representing Mewar and Indian culture. Along with these performances, the eye candid lightening decoration was also there.

An event titled ‘Apni Pagdi Sajao’ was also there in the event. “The motive behind organizing this programme is to get people in touch with the Indian culture and Indian wear,” said Dr. Pradeep Kumawat, Founder, President, Alok Institution. The prizes distributed in this were around Rs. 25,000. Rotary Club, Udaipur along with Bharat Vikas Parishad collaborated with Alok Sansthan in conducting this event.

Seven Soldiers: Colonel G.L Paneri, Lt. Col. M.S Jhala, Durgashankar Paliwal, M.L Savlot, Sub Major Puran Singh, MWO Shankar Lohar, MWO Hari Singh Ranka, Col. Hemant Sharma, Brig. Ransher Singh Ranawat, K.L Sharma from the Udaipur City, contributing in Indian Army has also been honored in the programme. They also signed on the banner for ‘anti-drug addiction’.

The legacy of singing the ‘Vande Mataram’ with the involvement of general public was carried out this year too, to show the patriotism.
