The Continuing Medical Education (CME) Program is being organized at Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital with collaboration from Harvard Medical School, Boston in which Dr. Julian N. Robinson from Harvard spoke about reducing infant mortality rate during normal delivery.

The program was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor Dr. R.K Nahar, Dean Dr. F.S Mehta and Medical Officer Dr. Pramila Bajaj. Medical officers from Harvard talked about the various innovative technology used during pregnancy.
In the program, Anesthesia Department, Harvard Medical School’s Associate Professor Dr. Bhavani Shanker Kodali and Dr. Lawrence were present. Dr. Kodali emphasized the need of a proper leader among the medical officers who can undertake all the duties responsibly and help increase the productivity of the entire department.
In the second session, safe motherhood, infant mortality, increased blood pressure during delivery, cesarean deliveries etc. were discussed along with innovative technologies and science methods.
Jodhpur’s Dr. Pradeep Bhatia, Jaipur’s Dr. Shashi Gupta, Dr. Sharmila Karna, Dr. Vinay Joshi with Geetanjali’s women, obstetrics & anesthesia department’s staff and doctors were present.
