Ancient Postal Stamp exhibition started today at Ahar Museum on the occasion of World Heritage Day.

Aroumd 450 old postal stamps are exhibited in the museum by stamp collector Naveen Kumar Lodha. The exhibition will be open for 15 days, everyday from 10am to 5 pm.

Chief Guest of the program Dr Shriniwasan Iyer said that the young generation should make positive opinion towards traditions. Dr Dev Kothari, former director of Rajasthan Art and Tradition Academy put light on the importance of Rajasthani language.

Professor Mahesh Sharma, Dr Rajendra Purohit and Gopilal Lodha also expressed their views on heritage conservation.

Dr Vishnu Mali, secretary of Takhman Institute discussed about the conservation of Sanjhi artists. Museum’s officer Mubarik Hussain has informed that from 18th May on the occasion of World Museum Day children can learn Sanjhi Art in a 10 day camp going to be held in the museum for free of cost.

Students who took part in the painting competition organized by Takhman on 11th April were also awarded on the occasion.
