“Pratirodh ka Cinema” (Cinema of Resistance), a 2-day film festival is going to be held in Udaipur from 14-15^th Sept, top national and international films will be screened at RNT Medical College’s Seminar Hall.

The event is free for all and is organized jointly by Jan Sanskriti Manch, The Group and Udaipur Film Society.

A meeting was held among cine passionate of the city regarding the film festival where a common group ‘Udaipur Film Society’ was also formed and Shailendra Kumar Bhati was appointed as group coordinator.

National coordinator of The Group, Sanjay Soni informed that Partirodh ka Cinema is the 31^st Film Festival which is going to be organized in 15 cities of 6 states.

The festival is also exclusive because it will be held without any financial help from any government, corporate or NGO. Financial backing will be done by common people.

Not only feature films but also folk films, animation films will be showed in the festival. On 15^th Sept special films for kids will be screened, with this, cine artists will also speak to audience.

Films DVDs, posters and books will be also available in the festival. A souvenir will be also publish on the occasion
