Udaipur is not only known for its astonishing lakes and palaces but also for the varied communities residing in the city with its appealing culture and traditions. The City of Lakes is going to celebrate its 462^nd Foundation Day on 2^nd May 2014.

To mark the occasion, 5-day celebration events have been planned by the organizing committee today that includes Kavi Sammelan, Seminar, Cultural Evening, Procession etc. The programs will start from 28^th April till 2^nd May.

 Meeting was headed by Dr. Vimal Sharma, Dean Department of Fisheries (MPUAT). Dilip Singh Rathore, chief coordinator of the program presented the outline of the program and appealed all social organizations to support the event.

Organized by Udaipur Municipal Corporation, in association with Sthapna Samaroh Samiti, coordinators of every program were appointed today.
