Preparations for Leap Day Lit Fest on the roll; city might see Freeze Mob for the 1st time

To promote ‘Leap Day Lit Fest’, the upcoming Literature fest by IIM-U, several promotional activities will be organised including Freeze Mob and Cycle Rally.

In these city level promotions, students have planned to hold a ‘freeze mob’ on 26th Feb, in which a group of around 40 students will disperse at a particular place, and will suddenly freeze for a moment to generate amazement, shock and curiosity among the onlookers at the same time.

Some will freeze holding a banner while others will freeze reading the books on Indian Mythology. The whole idea behind the activity is to create enthusiasm among the people present at the location.

Other than that, a Cycle Rally on 27th Feb will be organized and students will interact with local people and listen to their views on the topics related to mythology.

On 28th Feb, the main event will be organised at college campus in which renowned Authors Ashwin Sanghi and Rajiv M. Menon would be carrying out a discussion on Indian Mythology, followed by an interaction with students and faculty. Thereafter, Rashmi Bansal will have a discussion on Social Entrepreneurship with the students and people present at the venue.

Students of other colleges can also participate in this fest by simply registering themselves on www.leapdaylitfest.com.
