Udaipur’s Lakecity Press Club is organizing a Photo Competition cum Exhibition from 14th-15th February, 2011 in the memory of senior photo journalist Late Jaykant Sharma.

The name of Late Jaykant Sharma comes with highest respect and surely in the top of the list as one of the most prominent and skilled photo journalists of Udaipur.

Jaykant Sharma gave his services in Rajasthan Patrika for 25 years, all those years and till today, Jaykant Sharma is remembered as the Great Photo Journalist of Udaipur.

Jaykant Sharma (in photo) died on 11^th February 2007 after a prolong illness.

Akhtar Khan – president of the club said that this competition is an attempt of remembering a personality like Jaykant Sir, it will also help people to discover the art of photography and photography as a career. We want local public to participate in it.

About Competition:

The upcoming photography competition is divided in 3 different categories mainly Amateur, Professional and Pro Photo Journalist.

Theme: It would be free style photography.

Participants have to take a form cost Rs. 50/- from Lakecity Press Club’s office, fill the form and submit it with their three best photograph with a specific size ( 12inch x 18inch) before 10^th of February at Lakecity Press Club office situated at Luv Kush Stadium, Chetak Circle.
