One of the most well known and established football clubs of Rajasthan, the Prince Football Club, celebrated its 40th Foundation Day today, at Gandhi Ground.
As per Janak Singh Ravat, spokesperson of the Udaipur District Football Association, a friendly match between the young lads of Prince Football Club and trainees of Sports Council, was played to mark the occasion. Prince defeated the trainees 1-0. Dharmesh Nagda and Mohammad Mustaqeem of Prince Football Club and Vedanta Kharakwal from the Sports Council displayed their excellent skills with the ball.
Lalit Singh Jhala – Secretary of District Sports Council was the chief guest at the closing ceremony, which was presided over by Dilip Singh Shekhawat – Secretary of District Football Association, Udaipur. Vice President of the Zawar Mines Labour Union, CT Premnath was the special guest at the occasion.
Treasurer of District Football Association and Secretary of Prince Football Club, Shakeel Ahmed along with founder Director of Prince Club, Sayyed Siddiqi were the other eminent persons present at the occasion. Mahaveer Sharma, Irshad Khan, Chiranjivlal and Vivek Nagda were the referees of the friendly match.
