The 34^th Annual Award Ceremony organized by Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation concluded on 6^th March in a cheerful event held at City Palace’s Manak Chowk.

J.P Losty who worked at the Asian Department of British Library for 35 years as a curator received Colonel James Todd Award.

Journalist Rahul Kanwal received Haldi Ghati Award while Prasoon Joshi for his poetries received Hakim Khan Sur Award.

Amla Ashok Ruia who is working for water conservation got Uday Singh Award while athlete P.T Usha received Panna Dhay Award.

Shreeji Arvind Singh Mewar, President and Managing Trustee of Maharana Mewar Charitable Trust said that the land of Mewar is known for self respect, sacrifice, self esteem and faithful to the promise. And it will keep on contributing in the welfare of human being.

Balkavi Vairagi who was leading the event conveyed the message of women empowerment and saving girl child. He said that Mewar is proud of every personality who got honored in this event.

Foundation Trustee Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar said that, foundation itself got honored by honoring these respected personalities.
