This event will witness congregation of well-known personalities such as Isha Koppikar, Timmy Narang, Sangeeta Singh, Savita Singh, Suman Agarwal, Shweta Shetty, Arjun Khanna, Ankur Khosla, Ahana Deol Vohra, Terence Lewis, Sunita Rao among others

Renowned socialites, Educationalist, Lawyers, Doctors, Designers, Singers and Actors will walk the ramp in an endeavour to support children residing in orphanages and childcare institutions.  The event, ‘Celebrate Life, Be Alive’ will be held on 13 November 2019 at St. Regis Hotel, Mumbai and will be a medley walk for a cause and art auction.

It will witness the congregation of well-known personalities such as Isha Koppikar, Timmy Narang, Sangeeta Singh, Savita Singh, Suman Agarwal, Shweta Shetty, Arjun Khanna, Ankur Khosla, Ahana Deol Vohra, Terence Lewis, Sunita Rao and many more.

Farhana Vohra, an entrepreneur and a licensed business facilitator, dedicated to empower people to lead healthier, happier and successful lives. She has intertwined the entire event and has supported this cause for the last 5 years.

Proceeds of the Art Auction will be donated to an NGO, Catalysts for Social Action, which is committed to the welfare of children residing in orphanages and childcare institutions. This noble initiative by Catalysts for Social Action has resulted in beneficiaries increasing from 1600 to over 3600 children annually across 65+ childcare institutions in 4 states. The NGO has also provided higher education and skill training to over 120 adolescents and successfully placed 40 children in jobs.

The highlight of the event is the ramp walk wherein 30 renowned personalities will grace the ramp along with their families. With leading designers  showcasing their latest collection. 30 leading artists have contributed their work to the art auction, Miraki Art Auction curated by Jaya Lamba, Merlin Dsouza, leading music composer and Pianist with Shai Diwan, Shahriyar Atia  and Suneeta Rao will entertain the audience.

About Catalyst for Social Action

CSA works with children residing in child care institutions (CCIs) / orphanages. CSA in one of the few NGOs focused on children in institutional care. Within their area of work, CSA has identified gaps and worked with existing institutions and stakeholders to fill these & strengthen the systems and processes. On the ground actions that deliver results - more adoptions, happier children, better developmental outcomes, placement into decent jobs etc.

Over 5 years, CSA activity beneficiaries have grown from 1600 children to over 3600 children this year across 65+ CCIs in 4 states. Over 120 adolescent children supported under Aftercare for Higher education & Skill training. 40+ children placed in jobs with monthly remuneration ranging between Rs.8000 to Rs.21000.
