Pt Chaturlal Memorial Society, New Delhi organized a musical night ‘Prayaas’ at Railway Training School Auditorium in which Grammy Award Winner Pt. Vishwamohan Bhatt on Mohan Meena and Pt. Shubhendra Rao on Sitar enchanted the audience.

The event commenced with the scintillating performance by Pt. Shubhendra Rao on Sitar, accompanying him Pranshu Chaturlal on Tabla.

Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt presented the ‘Meeting by the River’ symphony which left the audience spellbound with other notable raagas.

Amid the musical night, both stalwarts asserted the need of spread of Hindustani classical music among public for them to understand the culture and art of India.

Pt. Chaturlal’s granddaughter Shruti Chaturlal was the compere of the show.
