District collector Bishnu Charan Mallick shared list of events to be organised as part of Rajasthan Divas (Rajasthan Day) celebrations over the next 4 days. Rajasthan day is celebrated on 30-March.

Rajasthan Diwas is celebrated on 30 March to mark unification of the erstwhile princely states in the region into the State of Rajasthan.

As per the decided programme, there will be a marathon organised at Maharana Bhupal Stadium at Chetak circle on 27th March at 7:00 am. At 4 pm on the same day, Bhajan will be organised at Jaggannath Mandir at Jagdish Chowk.

“Shabd Kirtan” will be organised at Shastri Circle situated Gurudwara on 28th March at 8 am.

On 29-March evening at 6pm, a Kawwali programme will be organised at Mastan Baba Dargah at Rani road and a prayer ceremony will be organised at Shefford Memorial church at Chetak Circle.

Cultural events will be organised at Fateh Sagar paal on 30-March.

There will be a 2 day Vikas Pradarshini (Exhibition showcasing development activities) organised on 27/28 March at Soochna Kendra (Information Centre). The exhibition will be open from 10 am to 5 pm.

There will be a 3 day craft bazaar organised at Reti stand from 28-March. This will be organised at Grameen Haat Centre.
