Rajasthan Day Event to Bring Folk Artists Together in Udaipur on March 19
Grand Rajasthan Day cultural event in Udaipur at Lok Kala Mandal featuring Chari, Kalbelia, Ghoomar and folk performances by renowned artists
Udaipur, March 18, 2026 - On the occasion of Rajasthan Day, a grand cultural programme will be held in Udaipur at Bharatiya Lok Kala Mandal on Thursday, March 19, under the joint aegis of the District Administration and the Tourism Department. The event will start from 7:00 pm and will feature vibrant performances reflecting the rich folk culture and traditions of the State.
Deputy Director of the Tourism Department Shikha Saxena shared that the cultural evening will feature traditional dances and performances by various folk artists such as the Chari dance by Dharmendra Kumar Verma, Bhavai dance by Lumbaram and Terah Taal dance by Kishan.
The programme’s other attractions will include a puppet show by Mohan Lal Dangi, Langa folk performance by Moti Khan, Kalbelia dance by Leela Devi, Ghoomar dance by Meena Devi and another Chari dance performance by Karuna Verma.
