Rajasthan Artisans to Showcase Local Craft at Bharat ODOP Sangam
38 ODOP enterprises and artisans from Rajasthan will participate in a national-level exhibition-cum-sale event in New Delhi from October 7 to 11
UdaipurTimes, Sept 28, 2026 - In coordination with the State’s Department of Industries and Commerce, 38 selected ODOP enterprises and artisans from various districts of Rajasthan will participate in a national-level exhibition-cum-sale event - Bharat ODOP Sangam - at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from October 7 to 11, 2026. The event has been organised by India’s Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) with the objective of further strengthening the identity, market access and visibility of One District One Product (ODOP) products from across the country.
More than 600 units and exhibitors from States and Union Territories are expected to participate in the event. Rajasthan will be showcasing a range of district-specific products, including gems and jewellery, marble and stone products, handicrafts and wooden products, textiles and apparel and processed food and agricultural products.
The Rajasthan ODOP Policy 2024, a marketing assistance scheme, encourages ODOP MSMEs participating in national and international exhibitions organised within or outside Rajasthan by offering assistance covering 75% of the stall rental cost, subject to a minimum of Rs 50,000 and a maximum of Rs 2 lakh per event. The policy also provides prescribed travel assistance for two representatives.
So far, approximately 497 ODOP enterprises have benefited from this policy.
The Department of Industries and Commerce also provides ODOP enterprises with opportunities to participate in the India International Trade Fair (IITF), Bharat Tex and other major fairs and exhibitions in order to connect them with national and international markets.
