Udaipur, April 17, 2025 – On the occasion of Rajasthan Police Day, a felicitation ceremony was held on Wednesday, April 16, at the Police Lines, Udaipur. During the event, 36 police personnel from various police stations and units of the district were awarded service medals for their outstanding performance. The ceremony was presided over by district Superintendent of Police (SP) Yogesh Goyal, who presented the awards to all the honoured persons.
Head Constable Kanhaiyalal received the Very Distinguished Service Medal. Narendra Singh, Vinod Kumar and Shishram were awarded the Best Service Medal. Circle Inspectors Himanshu Singh, Mukesh Soni, Ratan Singh and ASI Nirmal Kumar were among the 32 police personnel to be given the Distinguished Service Medal.
Addressing the gathering, SP Goyal said that Udaipur police has maintained public trust over the past year through effective crime control, public safety and swift action in sensitive cases.
The award ceremony was preceded by a ceremonial parade.
As part of the event, a blood donation camp was also organised in the Police Lines auditorium. Police personnel from various stations, including women officers, donated 50 units of blood.
